John is an environmental scientist, with a professional background of working both as a consultant and for public agencies. He has a broad technical background in the environmental sciences, developed with extensive experience performing field investigations related to surface water quality, sediments, soil, and groundwater. John specializes in regulatory compliance for projects with natural resource issues, and he has significant experience with environmental permitting at the federal, state, and local levels in Oregon and Washington. He has extensive technical writing experience and has prepared environmental documentation for numerous projects/programs with federal Clean Water Act (CWA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Endangered Species Act (ESA) compliance components.
